Finally, after another busy and exhausting week, shabbat finally arrived. Yehuda took Leora, Zachary, and Joshua to the Kotel on Friday night while I stayed home with Benjamin. Then Savta and Roy brought over delicious food and we enjoyed a wonderful shabbat dinner at our apartment. By the time we benched, all 4 kids were sound asleep.
Shabbat morning, we walked to Gila and Josiah's house in Baka for lunch. Accompanied half way by Savta and Roy and lots of delicious fruit, we made the trek and arrived hot and tired.
As always, spending time with great friend is lots of fun! We had a wonderful time schmoozing, catching up, and telling stories. We stayed until after shabbat when Josiah drove us home.
On Motzaei Shabbat, Yehuda and I finally made it to Ben Yehuda St. aka "town". We spent the evening reminiscing about our "year in Israel" memories as we passed familiar restaurants and landmarks. The evening ended with delicious onion soup from Luigi's.
Sorry, no pictures :)
