After a lazy morning in the apartment, we went to replace my cell phone at Cellcom (yes, the one hat I dropped in the toilet...) and then headed North to the beach at Rishon L'Tzion. (But first, Yehuda dropped his blackberry in the toilet, but don't worry, he had a spare...of course!) Roy warned us that since it was the hottest day of the year in Israel, the beach would be packed so we braced ourselves. After a delicious lunch at IKEA we arrived at the empty parking lot at the beach. The sign informed us that there were only 2,789 empty parking spots so we knew that we would have to fight for a spot. Apparently nobody goes to the beach when it is so hot...weird, right?
After showers and fresh clothes we headed to Sanhedria for Mordechai and Malka's Cherrick family reunion. It was so great to see Aaron Baruch, Ephraim Simcha, Lebee and Avi Stark, all with their spouses and kids. Tzip and Dan, Savta and Roy, and Dida and Danny also joined. We skyped Grams and Uncle Shlomo and Aunt Chani while on the porch. How cool! It was really really nice. Benjamin kept talking about all of his new cousins and B"AH there certainly were a lot of them. We thank Mordechai and Malka for their wonderful hospitality :)
Now off to prepare for our trip up North tomorrow morning....
